SIR HUON YEARLINGS SHOW SPEED. Louisville. Ky.. August 15.— .At Churchill Downs today trainer Peter Coyne worked the two first colts sired by the sensational Kentucky Derby winner. Sir Huon. They were worked with a bunch of youngsters by other sires owned bv Oenrge .1. Ixmg anil ran one-two in the trial. The half-brother of Man sard just nosed out the half-brother of Knyoc. No sensational time was attempted. It was just a beginning to teach the youngsters what is expected of them. These two colts are the exact counterparts of their famous sire. Tbe few white hairs in tbe forehead, which marked Sir lluons bead, are there and each has a white foot like their illustrious sire. Intil today horsemen have I ■ of the opinion that when Sir lluons get did show they would not come to their best until they reached a mature age, but these two youngsters have discredited this opinion and seem to be most promising juvenile material. It is reported that J. B. Beapesa would ship his entire string here from Latonia in a few davs. Irving II. Wheatcroffs big stable, in cliarge of Lew Marion, is also booked to arrive shortly. Secretary Lyman 11. Davis is in Cincinnati aud will not return here until next Saturday. A two -year-old lielonging to tbe Illinois Stable, which .lames ; rt rlin trains, arrived here from La-touia today. He is a. youngster that was sick early in tbe spring and for that reason was not taken east. The rest of the OriUiu horses will come here as soon as Saratoga racing ends.
