This is the third time that a horse of that age has lad the money earners of the last five years. In l.HKJ the three-year-old, Accountant, was first with 83,570. In 1907 the grand two-year-old. Colin, led with 31,007. In 1!H»S the leader was the two-year-old. Sir Martin, with 8,590. Last year Sam Hildreth- three-year-old. Joe Madden, headed all Competitors with 4.!M 5. This year his two-year-old. Novelty, is far in advance with £72,630 already to his credit and there is no possibility of his living even closely approached. He is in the Matron Stakes at Pimlico, October 10, ls-sides stakes at Ix uis-ville. and may Increase his total before the year ends, although Mr. Hildreth is credited with having said that the colts racing for this year is over. Sweep is second to Novelty, Olamhala third. Dalmatian fourth, and then comes a procession of two-year-olds iu the next seven places.
