WALKER STABLE TO RACE AT OAKLAND. San Francisco. air. Septcmlier 20. — William Walker will race a strong stable at Oakland during the coining winter. Secretary Percy W. Treat of the New California Jockey Club has received a letter from Mr. Walker dated at Montreal applying for stalls for eighteen horses, including Stanley Fay. Noon. Chepontac, C. M. Miller. Belle Kingston. I.es-ear. Slain and Adfiachr, Secretary treat has also received a communication regarding the meeting from another Canadian oh net, W. L. McCrachea, secretary ami treasurer of the Thoroughbred Horse Breeders Association of Western Canada. Mr. MeCraeken has Lexington Lady, Ruby Bird and The Shrimp.
