DEATH OF CANADIAN TURFMAN. Toronto. Int.. Soplember 2i .— The death of ]■,. King-Dodds, following a long illness, occurred Sun day at his home in Park dale. Mr. King-1odds was :: valiant tighter ill any cause in which he believed. A tine orator ami a trenchant write*, he did great service to the turf by his outspoken course and criticism. Mr. King-Dodds conducted The Canadian Sportsman for a score of years. Five years ago he lost his sight and two years ago. following an attack of la grippe, he became afflicted with heart trouble and dropsy, lo which he finally succumbed. Mr. King-Dodds was born al Salisbury. England, seventy years ago. He received his early education from Inters at home and finished at school in Scotland. In 1N5N he came to Canada ami entered the journalistic profession.
