CHOOSE STEWARDS FOR TAMPA MEETING Tampa Fla December 28 With the opening of the local race meeting In sight Tampas racing colony is assuming large proportions Shipments of horses are arriving daily from Kupfrian Park at Pensacoia and from other points The directors of the association have chosen tue following as a board of stewards for the meeting Charles God shaw chairman J U Strode and W F Stovall Work on the track has been intelligently done and it is in the best of condition Among recent arrivals are J Bryan with a string of twelve horses includ ¬ ing Merry Gift Chief Hayfes and Profile George R Bryson with Ella Bryson Golden Ruby Jacobite mid others and T P Hayes witli Parkview and Elizabethan will come from Jacksonville in a few days to join the remainder of the Joplin string which has been here several weeks
