INCENDIARY IS FRUSTRATED DASTARDLY ATTEMPT TO BURN TRACK BUILDINGS AT MONCRlEF PARK. Bob R, Wins Handicap Feature of Jacksonville Program Judge Monck Scores for i His New Owner. Jacksonville. Ilu., February 10. Stirring contests wore provided at Moneriof Park this afternoon, four if tli six races furnishing driving finishes. In two instances the three leading horses were noses apart while passing the wiimljig mark, with the winners In doubt until the oBieial placing was displayed. Two favorites and a well-backed second choice won, but the remaining winners were outsiders in the bet-1 1 ii jr. which helped the layers wonderfully. TJie mile and a sixteenth handicap, which was the feature race of the program, went to the Bev-erwyck Stables Bob It. by a couple of lengths. Judge Mouck won at the first asking for his new owner. W. P. Austin, when lie beat a shifty lot of three-year-olds in the third race. Haw and disagreeable weather had its effect on the attendance and the crowd was much lighter than on any previous day this week. An attempt was made to burn the track, buildings last night. The contents of twelve cans of collodion was scattered over the outside fence adjacent to tlie si able of Paul Fox and Dillard Hill, which was sot. a tiro.
