RACING GOSSIP FROM THE COAST. San Francisco. Cal., February 15. In behalf of her son. jockey Oscar Iaiu, Hattic Bowen has filed, suit against H. F. Carman, of New York, for ,050. alleged to be due for services. She claims that she originally apprenticed the boy for five years to Mike. White and F. 13. Wyruck. who sold their contract to Mr. Carman. The contract was entered into August 22. 1907, and provided, she alleges, for a certain monthly stipend and fees. She claims that none of! this lias been paid in spite of her frequent demands. Henderson and Hogan will rest their horses in the mild climate of California for awhile and will ship to Kentucky to prepare for a summer campaign.
