AVIATORS HOLDING FORTH AT TAMPA TRACK. Tampa. Fla., February 20. The aviation exhibitions attracted thousands to the West Tampa track this afternoon. The llights of aviators McCurdy and Beachy overshadowed the racing, but as the aviators did r.ot begin to give their exhibitions until after the lif tli race, the crowd was kept well entertained by interesting racing. Speculation fell off to a great extent and was conlined mainly to the regulars. As most of the wiuners were liberally backed, the layers had a disastrous day. In recognition of his feat in saving, ills associate, Paul, from serious injury last Friday, jockey Dreyer will be given a handsome gold medal approprkitely inscribed. Tom glatlield sent Emperor William and Allow-niaise to Jacksonville this morning and these horses will be raced there during the remainder of the meeting. Jockey Whalley was suspended for two days by llie starter fur disobedience at the post. General Manager John Ilachmeistcr of the Latonia Jockev Club will arrive tomorrow to remain several davs to enjoy the fishing and also to look after entries for the stakes to 1h run at Latonia this spring. While here Mr. Haehmeister will also look after the interests of the New Louisville Jockey Club, anil will accept entries for the stakes offered by that association. It is probable that the Tampa meeting will be extended at least two weeks lieyond the originally scheduled period of sixty days. It is thought that the horses will be transferred to Pensaeoia for a meeting of twenty-one days, beginning about April 1.
