OGDEN TRACK IN GOOD CONDITION. Ogden, Utah, April 25. Horsemen who have arrived here for the lifteen-days race; meeting which opens May 1 are enthusiastic over the condition of t lie track at the fair grounds, which they assert is the fastest half-mile track in the west. Manager J. II. Carson of the Ogden Jockey Club lias a squad of men at work rolling the track, making Improvements on the grandstand ami putting everything in order for the opening of the meeting. Official notification has been received from the Pacific Jockey Club by the management sanctioning the Ogden meeting for the dates already selected. In addition to the 150 horses now stabled at the fair grounds reservations have been made for about as many more. Manager Carson has received a telegram from Parker and Powell at Denver requesting the reservation of eighteen stalls for a string of thoroughbreds winch these horsemen will bring here.
