PLANNING FOR SALES OF YEARLINGS. Lexington. Kj., April 2S. Plans are in formation to sell all thoroughbred jearlings in Kentucky next fall. There was a gathering of breeders and owners of racers at John E. Maddens Hamburg Place recently, when the subject of a market for the vear-lings came up. It was the consensus of opinion that they should be sold in Lexington during the September meeting of the Kentuekv Association, and following this it was proposed by one of the party that the breeders should form an association and sell them under a co-operative plan that would further decrease the expense of cataloging, auctioneering, etc. It was decided that a meeting of breeders should lie called for some day next week. The faet that there is to be no racing in New Yo.rk in June and July, and possibly none at all this year, eliminates the metropolis as a market place for racers.
