LAD OF LANGDKN ran in closest pursuit and was wearing the leader down at the finish. SAL VOLATILE was unable to keep up in the early running, but finished fast and gamely. COONEY K. ran well. TAKAIIIRA ran a very bad race. SEYMOUR BEUTLER and SIXTY showed speed, but quit. The winner, entered for 00. was bid up to ,005 and bought in. MUNRO set the early pace and, being much used in racing MILPITAS into defeat, tired W in the stretch. MILPITAS ran well, but also tired and just lasted long enough to outstay LOYAL MAID for third place. The latter closed a gap and finished fast. The latter showed a good tiirn of speed in paccmaking and hung on resolutely under punishment. SUPERVISOR closed a big gap and finished with a rush. SANDHILL showed speed, but was messed about and runs inconsistently. COMPTOX ran fairly well. FEATHER DUSTER showed speed, but tired.
