ANOTHER STAKE TO HILDRETH STABLE. Little Pal Wins the Kindergarten at Blue Bonnets — Watcrvale Equals Track Record. Montreal. Que.. June Ii. — S. C. Hildrcth continued his stake-winning successes this afternoon when one of his Canard colts. Little Pal, won the Kindergarten Stakes for two-year obis and the feature race of Blue Bonnets seven race program. There were nine starters in the Kindergarten and Little Ial. eoupled with Pardner, ruled at odds on. He was ridden by C. II. Shilling, who succeeded in getting him to last just long enough to beat the fast dosing Froglegs a neck in a sensational finish. The first four horses were bunched and. just as the finishing line was reached. Yorkshire Hoy fell. It looked as if his rider. Merrill Bell, must surely bare been injured, but the lad escaped unharmed. Those who pin their faith to favorites fared well, five of the seven races being won by first choices. In the mile and an eighth handicap August Belmonts thme-yenr-old Watcrvale showed a return of his good form by making a runaway victory of the race and incidentally equaling the Bine Bonnets track record for the distance by running it in 1:39ft. Cliff Edge showed a splendid performance in this race. When Ihe barrier was released he refused to leave the iiost and was virtually left. Ilckcns went after his company and in the run to the half -mile iiost closed a big gap. In the final furlong this effort told on Clin" Edge and he tired. Olainbala closed a big gap at the end and is evidently rounding to his good form. apt. W. F. Presgravo introduced a new Jockey to the public ill How ley.
