June 17. — No one hereahoata has put a bridle or a saddle on a yearling this season. but it is expected that within lie- curse of the next thirty days a lew will be brought into the Kentucky Association track to be broke*, These first comers will be the property of people who intend tliein for fir lag and not for sale. Wheatcroft. who went to Oklahoma the day after the running of the Kentucky Derby to took after some business connected with banking institutions in which he is interested, returned to Lexington Tuesday. He is putting aside at his St. James Stud twenty-five mares to lie mated in August ..:.* September with St. Savin and other sires and exported in November along with seventy-live mares from Harney Sehreibers Woodlands Farm in Missouri to Ausiialia to lie sold. It is Intended that the shipment will be made aader the direction anil KOpervlakm of Dr. If. M.
