CHESTER KRUM BEATS ARASEE. Salt Lake City. Utah, June 17.— Fully .1.000 patroaa of racing visited Lagoon Park today and witnessed some interesting racing, a handicap at one mile and seventy yards lieing the chief sttrac tion. The contesting field was an extremely % 1 one. with Arasee a top heavy favorite and Cheater Kriini and Sake next in demand at liberal mliK The race resulted in a distinct surprise. Cheater K l inn. always in close contention, in a furious Stretch drive ontgamed Arasee ill the last few yards, with Sake a fast finishing third. The public had an area break, three of their choices winning. Jockey W. Mondoii. who was suspended for an unsatisfactory ride on WolfertOO at Juarez in 1910, received a wire from lodge W. 11. Shelley notifying him of his reinstatement today and he will be seen in the saddle here shortly. Henry Frclinghiiysen. E. Q. Soulo. Sam Bradley and L. Whclan joined the rank of the layers today. Jockey Shriner made his first appearance in the saddle today after au enforced absence of one year.
