NOTES OF THE TURF. Romp, which E. T. Miller claimed recently from J. B. Respess. has again changed hands, anil Olin John-saa is now his owner. Hugh McCarren has three yearlings. All are by Hapsburg, a half-brother to Hamburg, one being a colt and the others fillies. The colt is out of Florida Rose, while the fillies are out of Glad Smile and Ethel Wheat. The latters yearling is a sister to Kthelburg, which won the Debutante Stakes at Loui-isville for Mr. McCarren in 1300. D. N. Irewitt has recently had some bad luck with the produce of bis noted broodmare, Evergreen, the dam of T. M. Green. Her produce of 1310. a colt by Dick Welles, died as a suckling and a few days ago he lost her suckling filly by Nasturtium at Woodburn Farm, where he had shipped the mare to In mated this season to Knight of the Thistle. Evergreen is eleven years old. She never raced, having been foaled with a club foot. Her two-year-old of this season is Mack B. Eubanks, a recent winner at Latonia.
