RESIDENTS OF COUNTY ADMITTED FREE. Salt Lake City. Ftah. June 23.— This was Davis County day and all residents of the county in which Lagoon Park is situated, were admitted free. In onsequence one of the largest crowds of the meeting turned out and witnessed excellent sport. Only two favorites scored, most of the best backed choices gying down to defeat. The further entry of the ■torse Force was refused, owing to inconsistent run ning. Frank Poss claimed the mare Jeanetle M. from H. ;. Bedweil for |450 in the third race. Jockey P.cvan wsa lined 0 by the judges for rough riding in the first raei Paul Albertson, vice president of the Bulte Jockey Club, arrived from Butte today and expressed surprise at the beauty and magnitude of the plant here. The outlook for the forthcoming thirty days meet ing at Butte is most promising and from present indications it will be the most successful ever held 1 at the great copper camp.
