SPOKANE FAIR WILL BE BENEFITED. Sjiokanc. Wash., June 23. —While the thirty six days running race meeting of the Conor dAlene Fair ami Racing Association will give the turf enthusiasts of the northwest a splendid opportunity to enjoy that s|K rt. Spokane Interstate Fair officials are not overlooking the fact that the Lake City meeting will spell success for the six days of racing in connection with the big annual fair in this city. With from BOO to 1.000 horses quartered within twenty-two miles of the Interstate track, the best material ever available is promised for the running i ace end of the speed program. Horasnea have their eyes on the two Derbys. the Lake City and the Spokane, with a combined value of .*4.i00, while the forty-two days of racing on the cooperative plan is also alluring. Absolute harmony marks the plans of the two organizations, with" the Idaho officials idosing down their plant for one week in early October while Ihe horses come here to race over the local half mile track.
