BASHTI TRAINED BADLY FOR OAKS. _ New York. July 12. — Frank Clarke, superintendent JB, of the Sheepsbead Bay track, has received a letter from A. J. Joyner. trainer for Harry Payne Whitncv i.- Saarland. Joyner wrote his stable has not shown What be expected from it during the spring, especially the fleel Rashti. which he tried hard to train for tin- Oaks.
