* ; + STATISTICS OF LATOIMIAS SUCCESSFUL MEETING j j. The summer meeting of the Latonla Jockey Club, which opened at Covington, Ky., June 10 and came to a close July 15. unquestionably deserves to go on record as one of the most successful meetings ever given in the extended history of racing at Latonla. The meeting occupied thirty-one days, during which lss» races wire run and 25,018 was distributed in stakes and purses, representing the handsome daily average of ,032.74. That the money was exceptional well distributed is shown by the fact that of 140 owners whose horses won money, 84 were winners of 00 and over. G. M. Odom. who heads the list of winning owners, won the satisfying total of ,700. James McManus. R. N. Smith. W. G. Yauke, J. R. Wainwrlght and T. C.
