YORKSHIRE BOY closed a big gap and finished with a rush. ASTROLOGER was a forward contender all the way. but tired in the final drive. FOLLIE LEVY began slowly, but steadily improved her position and was wearing the leader down at the finish. EAGLE BIRD took the lead and set a fast pace, but tired ard just lasted long enough to outstay MONTCALM, for third place. The latter ran well and finished gamely. The others were outpaced. FLINT ROCK, off forwardly, dashed to the front on the backstretch and, increasing his advantage, opened a big lead after entering the homestretch and was easing up at the end. OCEAN BOUND moved up fast on the inside while rounding the far turn and, in a fast and game finish, easily disposed of the others. ZEUS was a forward contender throughout and was on the outside of the leaders for the entire way. OLAMBALA was close up in the early running, but was shuttled back on the far turn. GOVERNOR GRAY closed a big gap into a close up fourth. STAR CHARTER also made up much ground. PLATE GLASS set a fast early pace, but tired and failed to stay the route.
