BUTTE LAYERS HAVE PROFITABLE DAY. Butte, Mont.. August IS. Despite an unpromising program a good-sized crowd was in attendance today, and although form was somewhat awry a good days sport was provided, a majority of the finishes belug close enough to leave the issue in doubt until the official placing was displayed.
