SERENADE TAKES MUSKOGEE FEATURE. Muskogee. Okla., August IS. One favorite and three well-backed second choices finished iu front today. The third and sixth races furnished the outbreaks the books had in their favor. The fifth race, the feature of the card, was won by Serenade, backed from a to 2 to to 5. She scored in spite of being carried wide on the stretch turn by Hopewell, the favorite. Pops seemingly does not like the hard Irack here. Because the track Is so hard the management lias trouble in tilling the races. The meeting will end August 20. A large crowd was in attendance today, including many of the fair sex, it being ladies day.
