NOTES OF THE TURF. Waldorf Astors Mirador finished third in the Ebor Handicap of 1,000 sovereigns at the York meeting, in Knglaud Wednesday. The Brighton Beach Racing Association has offered to sell to the city or New York its track, hotelsj bathing houses and beach front. The price asked Is said to be ,250,000. The offer was made in connection with the citys proposal to buy ocean front parks. F. Ambrose Clark has presented Frank Stagg to F. C. von Stade. Mr. von Stade won the Myopia, and a three-mile cross-countrv race with Frank Stagg at Brookline last summer. August Belmonts promising colt. Amoureux, with Garner up, made a bid for the Prix Critcrium at the Dieppe races in France Thursday, but was overhauled by M. Veil-Picards Fourvieres, and took only second money. W. K. Vauderbilts Cauadienno, with ONeill np, was-third.
