NUMEROUS ARRIVALS AT LEXINGTON. Horses and Owners Gathering for Tomorrows Opening at Kentucky Association Track. Lexington, Ky., September 12. There were numerous arrivals today of men and horses for the Kentucky Associations fall meeting, which is to open Thursday afternoon. R. F. Carman came over from Louisville with sixteen horses, including Bonnie Kelso, Starbottle, Meridian, G. M. Miller. Colonel Ashmeade. Sherlock Holmes. Dr. Watson. Sly Lad and Lady Sapphire. Henry MeDaniels string of eleven arrived this morning from Latonia. They include Polls, Setback, Anne McGec, Lucille Allen, Delaney. Anion, Nightdress. Supple, Mexico, Broomstick and Embracer. The last named two belong to Irving H. Wheat croft and are to go to Australia after the Louisville meeting. The Whcatcroft string of five, including Union Jack. Frazzle, Chief Jackson. Weir got in witli Helene, Husky Lad, Kingship ktfind Sewell. , At , , , , . Old Honesty, after a season in the stud, is back in training and is ready to race. A. J. Gorey brought him to the track today, along witli Old cC. Van Meter lias here only Dilatory and Robert. , . James S; Everman is here from Latonia with Governor Gray. T. M. Green, Mack B. Eubanks and several two-year-olds. , Hugh McCarren came in with Camel and a couple of others. ... The string of W. G. Yanke. including Round the World, arrived lrom Louisville, as did that of Henderson and Hogan. , , , . During the afternoon John Louis worked a mile in l:.r2 and Startler, another candidate for the Autumn Cup at two and a quarter miles, to be run Thursday, worked a mile in 1:51. The track is drying out and will be in good condition by Thursday ir there is no more rain. However, it Ms cloudy tonight. W. H.
