NOTES OF THE TURF. n. G. Bedwell is abont to leave Anaconda for Kentucky with Prince Ahmed. Madman and others of his good horses, while AY. S. Heath will campaign the rest of the Bedwell string at Coeur dIAlene. The board of stewards at Coeur dAlene consists of M. D. Wright, president of the association. Robert F. Leighton and F. St. D. Skinner. Phil Reilly is serving with Messrs. Leighton and Skinner In the judges stand. An unconfirmed report was in circulation at Montreal last night to the effect that the grandstand of the Marlboro, Md.. track, had burned. A ten-days inee"g was scheduled to begin at Marlboro September 20. : ! American-owned horses won one race and carried off three seconds at St. Cloud in France Monday. Nash Turners Santa Lucia -won the Prix de Mon-tainville. La Hire. Polonaise and Didius. all owned, hy AV. K. Vanderbilt. finished second respectively in the Prix du Garage, the Prix du St. Michel aud the Prix de Nezel.
