GARRY began slowly and ran with the rear division to the stretch turn, then closed up witli a rusli through tlie last quarter and got up to win in the final strides of a game finish. SKNEX was cut off in the first sixteenth and closed a gap fast, but tired after overhauling OCHRE COURT. The latter moved up fast while- rounding the far turn and led in the stretch, but gave way under punishment in the last sixteenth. DELIGHTFUL set the early pace, but quit after going three furlongs. GANOGUE was cut off at the start, but was taken to the middle of the track and went to the front with a rush, then kept increasing her advantage and won in a canter. CISMONT ran well and wore the tiring TA NUN. DA down in the final furlong. His heavy weight told on the latter and he tired after racing well to the stretch. CAPER SAUCE was always outpaced. MERMAN, j after being saved overlong, came through fast next to the rail, but finished in the deep going and tired. RAYTHORN was interfered with on the backstretch and was pulled up.
