ACTON followed the leaders close up, to the stretch turn, then moved up fast and outgamed TIPSAND in a hotly contested finish. TIPSAND showed a fine turn of speed in paeemaking for five furlongs and finished g:imely, but tiring. FROG LEGS tired after racing closely with TIPSAND to the llnal furlong.
