f ANOTHER RECORD FOR TERNS TRICK. Spokane, Wash., September 21. Terns Trick made a new track record when lie ran live furlongs in 1:00 today. An almost prohibitive favorite in the betting, he inade every post a winning one, but had to be ridden out vigorously at the end, as Pride of LIsmore was rapidly gaining. The race was robbed of considerable interest by the scratching of Enfield, which pulled up slightly lame in ids morning gallop. Form horses held their own during the afternoon. Among the visitors at the course were F. Augustus Hciiize of New York and Charles W. Clark of San Francisco. Both expressed themselves as immensely pleased with the plant and racing as it is conducted here. Jockey Rosen was suspended for one week for striking at Passenger with his whip in the second race while riding Sainest. The attendance was excellent and speculation lively.
