SCHREIBER BROODMARES FOR GERMANY. Lexington, Ky., October 4. Barney Schreiber, writing to a friend in this city, says that he is busy at his Missouri farm preparing fifty thoroughbred broodmares for shipment to Germany and sixteen for Australia. The ,000 gold cup to be presented by the Kentucky State Racing Commission to the winner of the Kentucky Endurance Stakes, four miles, at Iouis-villi? next Saturday, arrived from New York this morning and will lie on exhibition until tomorrow night, when it will be sent to Louisville. It Is one of the handsomest trophies ever given on the American" turf.
