J: ISLAND QUEEN began slowly and had to go vide into the stretch, but closed a big gap and. finishing with a rash, almost got up for second place. SLEETH ran forwardly and gamely. POLLY D. ran well, but was forced to go wide into tho stretch and lost enough ground to cost her second place. SALESIA ran a good half and tired near the i nd.
