Pt.CK, from a fast start, wore STAR ROSE down in the first three furlongs and, standing the final drive jiamcly, held COLONEL HOLLOWAY safe through the last furlong. The latter had to bo hard ridden for the entire race and was gaining slowly at the end. INCITER ran forwardly throughout and had no inis haps. STAR ROSE set the early pace, but tired badly and swerved out in the stretch. NICIAS ran poorly. MANAGER MACK closed a big gap. Scratched 9S470 Stalraore, 102. AVHEELAVRIGIIT came with a rush through the stretch and would have won In a few strides more. SIR BLAISE was well up for the entire race, but tired in the stretch. The latter was saved to the stretch, then came on with a rush and finished gauiciy, but failed to quite get up. MARY DAVIS showed the mst early speed and made the pace fast, but was forced to her utmost by HAZEL BURKE, causing her to tire in the stretch. ORKING LAD finished fast and wore THEO COOK down in the last Sew strides. THEO COOK showed nigh speed and set the pace fast to tbe stretch, but tired after going a good half mile.
