SUN QUEEN began fast and, showing superior speed in the going, drew far away and -won pulling up. CLOUD HIEF was in close quarters while rounding the far turn, but ran a good race and finished gamely. EATON ran in close pursuit throughout, but tired at the end and finished driving hard to outstay GIFT. The latter made up much ground from a poor start and finished fast. DOROTHY T. ran fairly well. SEMI-QUAVER dashed to the front at once and easily held his opponents safe throughout. HIGH-FLOWN, close up from the start, went to the outside in the homestretch and outgamed CORINTH for second place. The latter was a close contender throughout", but tired at the end. BERTIS ran moderately well and was next to the rail all the way. RUE wheeled at the start and was practically left. DACIA ran poorly and can do better. Scratched 0SS40 Caugb Hill. 100. COMMONERS TOUCH ran in close pursuit of the leaders from the start and, finishing with a rush, outgamed STAR JASMINE in the final drive. The latter set the pace and was hard ridden throughout, but swerved to the inside into heavy going in the stretch drive. DUVAL began slowly and was losing up on the leaders at the finish. LITTLE EP showed much speed, but tired in the stretch. YORKSHIRE BOY ran fairly well. Overweights Commoners Touch. 1 pound. QQ-1 FOURTH RACE About 2 Miles Short Course. REN IOYAL began slowly, but went around the others with a rush while rounding the far turn and outgamed BLACK CHIEF at the finish. The latter showed the most early speed and set a fast pace for the going, but tired at the end of a good race. DOUBLE FIAE saved ground on the stretch turn and, finishing fast, held the others safe for third place. MYLES OCONNELL tired badly after going a good half mile in closest pursuit. LUCILLE R. ran well and was unlucky. SENECA ran well to the stretch and will do to watch. The winner, entered for ,200, was bid up to ,505 and bought In.
