Dissension andAOld Coin, two yearling sons of Planudes, tho former out Dissembler and tho latter out of Pocket Piece, that woro knocked down to B. L. Belt of New York, the sale of August Belmonts yearlings here September 21, have been purchased bv John E. Madden for a good advance over the ,775 that they brought iu the auction. Mr. Belt left the colts here charge of Shelby -T. Harbison with instructions have them broken and trained. They were turned over to "Chuck" Walker and when Mr. Madden saw them run a quarter in 23 seconds, he opened negotiations for them and closed tho doal this morning. Mr. Madden recently sold Planudes to go to Australia and he at one time owned tho dams of botli these colts, the mare now bein to the Nursery Stud.
