WELL-BACKED HORSES WIN AT MARLBORO. Washington, D. C, November 3. As tho weather had moderated to a- considerable extent, there was a big increase in the attendance at Marlboro this afternoon and speculation , was lively on the six races that furnished the afternoons entertainment. While only one favorite won, every purse went to a well-backed horse.
