LEXINGTON SALE THE COMING WEEK. Catalogues have been issued for the Powers-Hunter Companys annual Kentucky sale of thoroughbred stallions, broodmares, race horses in training, yearlings and weanlings, which, is to take, place at Lexington, Ky., on Tuesday and Wednesday, next, beginning each day at 10:30 a. m. George A. Bain will act as auctioneer. This sale affords the last opportunity of the year to purchasers who depend upon such occasions for the replenishing of their breeding or racing establishments. The stallions that are to go under the hammer include F. A. Forsythes Filigrane, J. N. Camdens St. Simonlan II., E. L. Davis Elkhorn, R. W. Nelsons Oederstrome. R. H. McCarter Potters Buck Massio and O. H. Chenaults Boanerges. Tho broodmares to be offered include, some good producers and the youngsters that will go under the hammer represent careful selection. In all 193 arc catalogues to be sold, but it is probable that there will be some later consignments. Tho largest consignment in the sale is by Milton Young, John D. Carr and TUbuias Patt, who have pooled their offerings.
