RACING RECORD OF STONE STREET. Advices come from Latonia to the effect that Stone Street, winner of the Kentucky Derby of 190S, in the colors of C. E. Hamilton, is so badly broken down that it is improbable ho will ever again face tho barrier. Stone Streets Derby victory, which was the most notable achievement of his racing career, was accomplished over a heavy track and lie was looked upon as purely a mud runner imtil the present year. It is quite remarkable that in his races this season. Stone Street has invariably shown a dislike for wet tracks and lias raced poorly under such conditions, while his fast track showing has been creditably good. Stone Streets case affords a striking illustration of how race horses sometimes change in this respect. The record of his racing career is as follows: Stone Street, b. g. 1905 by Longstreet- Stonenellie. Year.. Age. Sts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp.
