EXCALIBUR gained steadily ail tho way and was going fastest at tho end. CHRISTMAS DAISY, from a slow leglnniiig, finished with a rush. ARANY ran well, to the stretch, but tired near the finish. ELIZABETH HARWOOD ran n good race, but was allowed to go wide into the stretch and lost much ground by it, SAL VOLATILE ran well and probably will lin-provc. GRENIDA ran a good half and tired. CARROLL, showing the most early speed, set a fast pace and disposed of the early contenders, but tired near the end. TIPPY began slowly, but closed a gap and finished fast. YNCA ran well to the stretch and tired in the last furlong. J. II. BARR had no mishaps. CHILTON SQUAW ran fairly well. MAYNORA ran a fast half, but quit badly and probably will Improve. MICHAEL ANGELO, after a poor beginning, closed a big gap and. was going fast and gamely at the end. HELENB ran well, but suffered from much interference and was poorly ridden. OTILO ran well, but tired after leading into the stretch. DOLLY BULTMAN came fast around the turn, but also tired in the stretch. IRISH KID, DUKE OF BRIDGEWATER and CLEM BEACHEY quit after being prominent in the early racing. Scratched 99744 Roscburg II.. 102.
