JACK WAINWRIGHT went very wide in the stretch, but closed a big gap and finished fast. DE CESARION was deficient in early speed, but made a good stretch sprint. MISS KORN was judiciously ridden and, after being carefully rated in fourth place, slipped through on the inside in the stretch and, outgaming MAMAC, won easing up. MAMAC ran forwardly frcm the start arl led into the stretch, but tired in the last furlong. BARNEY OLDFIELD ran a good nice, but was tiring at the end. COIPERTOWN finished fast and showed improvement. HARRIGAN was badly cut off when nearing the last turn, losing all chance. OAKLAND set the early pace and unit badly in the final furlong.
