LONG-SHOT DAY AT JUAREZ. El Paso, Tex., December 10. One long shot after another scored at Juarez this afternoon,- and one of them, Secrete, starting for the first time in her life, was the medium of an extensive killing. Backed from 20 to 1 to 0 to 1. she made a runaway race of it. She never left the result in doubt, and the books lost heavily. J. T. Bobbins, better known in turf circles as the "bone doctor," trained the filly, and he certainly made no mistakes. The attendance was large and speculation brisk. J. G. Follansbco has returned from his Chihuahua ranch and will remain here for some time. Calisse was sold yesterday on private terms to J. F. Newman. The suspension of jockey Carter for rough riding yesterday necessitated the waiving of the apprentice allowances on five mounts he had been engaged to ride today,
