WORK-OUTS OF HORSES AT COLUMBIA. j Columbia. S. C. December 1G. Recent work-outs of horses in training here were as follows: Weather clear; track fast American Girl Half mile in 52. Has not been doing much fast work. Aiiimus-T-Three-quartcrs in 1:19s. Showed plenty of speed through the work. Arany Three-eighths in 37. Is ready to race to best form. Bertls Three-eighths in 30. Looks well and works well whenever set down. County Chairman Five-eighths in 1:00. Creole Five-eighths in 1:03. Shows plenty of speed in all her work. Dandy Dancer Half mile in 51. Donald Macdonald Three-quarters in 1:20. Has been going along slowly. Eddie Graney .Mile in 1:401. Looks well and works well whenever set down. Electric Three-eighths in 39. Golden Treasure Mile in 1:47. Was quitting at end. Goldfern Three-quarters in 1:1S. Has been working along well for some time. Grace Kimball Half mile in uOj. Was working under a pull. Irish Kid Three-quarters in 1:182. Shows speed and has a good way of working. J. II. Barr Half mile in 50. Does not seem to improve much. Jacquelina Half mile in 51. Has been going along slowly for some time. Lady Iiapsburg Three-quarters in 1:19. Was working along in an eas3 manner. Lighthouse Mile in 1:49. Has been going along slowly for some time.
