F ST D SKINNER DIES IN WEST Frank St Dennis Skinner for many years con ¬ nected with Pacific Coast racing in various official capacities from presiding judge down died at his home in San Francisco Monday He was a son of Col James A Skinner and brother of LieutCol Charles Skinner Royal Engineers Bermuda and Col Fred St Dnnstan Skinner stationed in India He came to this country from Ottawa Canada twenty five years ago and while racing was flourishing in California became associated with the late Horace Egbert in the successful publication of racing charts here and elsewhere on the coast Upon the death of his partner several years ago Mr Skinner con ¬ tinued the business of tlie concern and through its medium became widely known For several months prior to his death and until the encroachments of what was destined to be a fatal illness compelled the relinqnishment of active work Mr Skinner had represented Daily Racing Form with fidelity as its far western correspondent In the midst of the re ¬ cent Juarez meeting for which he was making the official charts his condition became so serious that he proceeded to his San Francisco home in the hone of recuperating He was to have served as associate Wse for the forthcoming Coeur dAlene mett Mr Skinner at one time figured as an owner ng of race horses the most notable member of his estali track0 S IIoratl0 a stakc wnner on Chicago
