WORTHS WORK DISAPPOINTING Trainer Taylor Says Kentucky Derby Favorite Did Not Like Aiken Track Lexington Ky April 20 Trainer Frank M Tay ¬ lor arrived this morning with the H C Hallenbeck stable of ten horses the most distinguished member of which Is the Kentucky Derby candidate Worth Asked concerning the report that Worth had not l een working satisfactorily at Aikcn trainer Taylor said That is true tlie colt seemed never able to get used to that track It was you know a fivefurlongs ring and Worth was not able to get around the turns with the ease that the other mem ¬ bers of my string were I really do not know as much about him as I had hoped I would when I shipped to Aiken Until I have u chance to work him over the mile track here I prefer to say nothing as to when he will make his first start He is in good bodily health however and if he shows me that the trouble was no more than a dislike for the Aiken track he probably will be a starter in the Blno Grass Stakes StakesMr Mr Taylor did not say what was the best work shown Iry Worth at the South Carolina track but one of the stable men said that one mile in 140 was his best The IIilUnlKjck horses all look good in truth i they are about the best looking ten eqnincs that have been seen in any mans barn here in a long time In addition to Worth the string is made up of Adams Express Fauntleror Prince Gal Azy iade Housemaid Sir Marion Sir Denrah Recom ¬ pense and Miss Minnie air Hallenbeck will be here tomorrow morning from New York
