HORSEMEN RETURN TO LEXINGTON Lexington Ky June 20 AAith the close of the Lntonia meeting a number of owners and trainers came here to rest their horses until the fall season OIHMIS Others of them will take up their horses at once The horses of Thomas Fortune Ryan of New York will arrive Monday in care of trainer W M Carter including AATondawuy Belle Nelson Dain gerfield Silver Moon Nelly Agnes and others O A Bianchi arrived today with his own horses and some belonging to James MncManus Kimball Patterson arrived from Buffalo with two of his stable and will take up several others soon J O Keene went from Latonia to Salt Lake City with a portion of the J X Cumdcn stable to join G II Keene who Is racing a stable In the AAest Among those he sent here to Hartland Farm were Helios the champion twoyearold of 1012 which will be turned out for the remainder of the year Boola Boola and Lodona Jack Baker came in with several head including Joe Morris and others to arrive included J C Milam with his old campaigner Merrick William McDaniel with Foundation Coctir dAlene and sev ¬ eral others AAill AAoodard with Howdy Howdy Mc Ivor etc C T Worthingtou with the twoyear 1 olds Pericles Polly Worth and Mollie Richards G AAr J Bissell with about half a dozen twoyear olds AA alter Grater with Sir Blaise and others ami Fletcher E Driver with one twoyearold he having sold the remainder of his horses before the close of the Latonia meeting meetingW W H Laudeman who was pverseer of the mu tuels at Latonia said on his return today that the meeting was the most successful one held by the association In fifteen years financially and other ¬ wise and that the mutuols were conducted In nil absolutely fair manner mannerW W H Karrick trainer of the Knapp and Hitch ¬ cock yearlings is here to superintend their ship ¬ ment to Saratoga SaratogaSuperintendent Superintendent James IV Ross of the local track is busy reselling the course which task will be com ¬ pleted in a couple of weeks
