RACING PETITION IS NUMEROUSLY SIGNED SIGNEDLos Los Angeles Cal July 13 Tho local initiative petition of the Breeders Association of California for the restoration of horse racing in this state was tiled with the registration bureau here today In Los Angeles City and County over 7000 signatures were secured Thirtyfive thousand signatures are required in the state to place the measure before tho I eople electionIt at the next election It is proposed to conduct racing under a state commission of five members to be appointed by the Governor Parimutuels and auction pool betting would be permitted should the proposed new racing law become effective The expenses of the racing commission would bo paid by the various racing asso ¬ ciations of the state
