RICHARD DWYER FOR STARTER The management of the Mineral Springs Jockey Club has virtually closed with Richard Dwyer to do the starting at the new Indiana track at whieh a fifteendays meeting is scheduled to begin Sep ¬ tember 14 Mr Dwyer is at present at his houje in San Francisco and is preparing to come east on short notice with his starting gates and other necessary equipment The management of the new club in pursuance of its announced policy of ob ¬ taining the highest grade of officials obtainable is in communication with other prominent racing offici ¬ als who have been invited to fill various positions of responsbility in connection with the new venture ventureSatisfactory Satisfactory progress is being made in the con ¬ struction of the new track Stables for the horses and kitchen for the stable help are now in process of erection and will be pushed to completion so that horsemen who may desire to engage in the racing at the new course may be able to ship there in ad ¬ vance of the completion of the grandstand and other structures for the use of patrons of the snort The management insists that its proposed meeting will begin on September 14 even though its plant may not lie in an entirely completed slate
