OKLAHOMA CITY FALL PROGRAM Stakes for the running races in connection with the Oklahoma State Fair and Exposition to be held at Oklahoma City Okla September 24 to October 5 have been announced by Secretary I S Mahan There are to be three events worth 500 each and it Is announced that there will be four or more races On each of the eleven days of the fair fairThe The Junior Handicap for twoyearolds will be the feature event of tlie opening day The Okla ¬ homa Derby and the Flight Selling Stakes are the other features featuresThe The purses will range from 5200 to 300 The meeting held there early In the summer was a com ¬ plete success and the people seem to be well pleased With the parimutuel system which will again lie employed during the fair fairTlie Tlie stake entries will close September 10 and Sec ¬ retary Mahan hopes to have the first weeks book ready by September 14 Owners making stake en gagemeuts will be given the preference In assigning stalls Any person desiring stalls or information should write to I S Mahan Secretary Oklahoma City Okla
