BLUE BONNETS TRAINING COLONY Montreal Que Auguai IHF iun ii ° horses have arrived at Blue Bonnets for the fall meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club from Septem ¬ ber 7 to 14 In this lot are the horses owned by 1 C Palmer of Toronto including the steeplechasers He Thankful ami Huek Mike Daly came in with the horses owned by A Henry Higginson including Prince Hampton and OConnor Along with these he brought several of his own including Herbert Turner and Sal Volatile John Cole has arrived with the string of jumpers owned by Miss Chamblet tluy being Hill Andrews Huxtoti and Hice Grain GrainMrs Mrs L A Livingstons string has arrived Shi has only nine in training this fall Lovetie Picolata Amelia Jenks and five twoyearolds several of which have not yet made their racing debut Trainer Matt Feakes is giving them their final preparation here he being partial to training conditions at Blue Honnets HonnetsJ J H Tompkins is training Malamont a twoyoar old by the great Flying Fox for I Raymond fi Montreal owner This colt is named in the Hoebe laga Stakes and his trials have been promising He has been so well schooled that he leaves the barrier like an old race horse horseThe The locallyowned horses have shown great im provement in the past two weeks and the Kings Platers will be much farther advanced than ever before beforeTom Tom Love a local owner has a useful one in Velsini which lie purchased during the first meet ¬ ing at King Edward Park for the purpose of school ¬ ing This horse has been taken to his work in a kindly manner and gives much promise through the field He has plenty of speed Hccently he worked a mile and a quarter in 1118 righting for his head headThe The Tompkins jumpers Hello Jimmy Lane The Prophet and two green ones are factorily They will have the advantage of having been rested since the first meeting at Hamilton early in June
