CONNAUGHT PARK NEARING COMPLETION Horsemen Racing at Blue Bonnets to Be Entertained at New Course at Ottawa Shortly Ottawa Out August 27 Albert Bohrbnch rac ¬ ing manager of the Connaught Park Jockey Club has arrived here to supervise the completion of the new racing plant on the Aylmer road The Ottawa club was to have held its inaugural meeting this month but owing to the inability of the con ¬ tractors to guarantee the track the management was springMr obliged to defer its opening until next spring Mr Uohrbach is well satisfied with the conditions of affairs and it is now certain that the entire plant will be ready about one month hence The structural work is ready and the only dilficully experienced has been that in connection with the grading His Iloyal Highness the Duke of Con naught will preside over the inaugural ceremonies next year Mr Uobrbach has arranged for a visit two weeks hence of leading horsemen and hook makers as well as officials who will be at Blue Bon ¬ nets They will come upon a special train as guests of the Connauglit Park Jockey riuli and will be entertained at dinner at the Chateau Lanrier after which they will Inspect the new plant The book of conditions for the spring meeting will be issued as sooi as the Canadian Racing Associations give out their allotment of dates
