AGAINST OPENING OF MORE TRACKS Baltimore Md September 11 The Harford County Racing Commission which was created by an act of the last Legislature has decided to cur ¬ tail racing in that county The commission has adopted a resolution stating that in order to pro tect legitimate racing it is the opinion of the commission that no more licenses for horse racing in Harford County be granted by the commission this year and that no licenses be granted in 191 to any association or corporation which has not applied or paid for a license this year The yearThe resolution docs not apply to matinee meet ¬ ings Tin action of the commission is final It has complete jurisdiction under the law over all horse races in Harford County CountyThe The object of the resolution is to put a stop to work which promoters are pressing on the grounds adjacent to those of the Harford Agriculture and Breeders Association under whose auspices the races at Havre de Grace are now being conducted In fact the commission in its resolution adds to its notice of its intention to curtail racing by say ¬ ing that its action is to prevent wasteful expendi ¬ ture of money by persons hoping to get such privi ¬ lege from this commission
