FRENCH RULING AGAINST DOPING A sensation in Paris Tracing circles was caused ri reutlv bv the report of Professor Kauffmann to the French Jockiy Club wherein three horses which wou races were disqualified on account of dopinjf rrnftssor Kauffmann made an analysis of the saliva of ieveral race horses In a great majority of cass he found tracts of stimulants or drugs five or six cases were doubtful while in three cases stimulants undoubtedly were administered The stewards there iiIHtn decided to disqualify three horses Mobels Bonbon and Rose and trainer Tirlnt whose horse von the Coupe dOr ut Maisons LaflUte Michel Lasards of UulUhard trainer for Shields who won the Prix Saint Angela at Tremblay and Wadsworth Rogers of Palo Alto trainer for W Flatuian who won the Prix Saint Simon at Tremblay No da cisiou was made regarding the trainers whose per ¬ sonal responsibility was not proved It is probable the committee will alter the rules in order to fix the responsibility for future cases
